SAD NEWS: IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!!

It is with much regret that Maltby & District Riding Club has no option to announce that the club will fold at the end of this 2018 season.

We have campaigned for over 2 years to our members to join our committee and assist with essential committee roles for the running of the club.

Our Membership & Data Protection Officer is unable to stay with the club for the 2019 season, leaving just 4 committee members.

We will be hosting a final campaigning meeting next month and we strongly urge current members to come along and volunteer as it would be such a shame for what seems evidently apparent. Maltby & District Riding Club will cease to run. Date, venue and time TBC.

SUNDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER: SHOW JUMPING COMPETITION!

Venue: Milton Equestrian Centre, Blyth Road, S81 0TP

Time: 9.15am

Clear Round 9.15am – 10am

Show Jumping classes starting at 10am prompt.

Open to members and non-members.

All jumping rounds will be timed and only competitors that jump clear will go into a timed jump off round. All other places will be awarded by faults and times.

ALL 2017 AWARDED TROPHIES GRATEFULLY RECEIVED!

A polite reminder to our club members that it is a condition of membership that you offer to help at one of our events. Availability forms available at all our forth coming events.

Without volunteering from our members the club will not be able to run in 2018!

Why not make our next event your show to help? You will be fed and watered and enjoy seeing how events run!

We are in an impossible position with regard to the viability of Maltby & District Riding Club.

We do not currently have enough help or a large enough committee in order to keep running events for the future.

We need to form a new, larger committee and guaranteed support on event days.

Please contact us directly if you would like to support the club and guarantee it’s future.

We will attempt to run the events that have already been advertised for this year, but unless you volunteer your help, the Club will fold at the end of 2018 after over 60 happy years.

This has been a very hard decision for the current committee and we are still hopeful a solution can be found.

We are always in need of willing members to come and help at our events at Milton Equestrian Centre and at the show field off Lancaster Cresent, Tickhill.

We are just a few committee members that run Maltby District Riding Club events and look forward to welcoming members to a behind the scenes helping session that ultimately aids in the smooth running of our shows and benefits our members and non members.
